PHILIPSBURG:--- Several roads in the Philipsburg area will be closed on Monday, October 10, 2022.
Frontstreet, the Wilhelminastraat in front of the House of Parliament, Gevangenisstraat, and parts of Backstreet will be closed on Monday, from 6.30 AM to 2.00 PM.
The closure is in connection with activities surrounding the acceptance of the Office of Governor of Sint Maarten by Mr. Ajamu G. Baly which is scheduled to take place at the St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, at the House of Parliament and in front of the Courthouse.
The public is advised not to move or temporarily relocate any barricades placed by the Police Force or the Ministry of VROMI.
