Process for repairs on Martin Luther King School taking too long --- Samuel.

rsamuel04102022PHILIPSBURG:--- The process to execute the repairs on Martin Luther King School is taking way too long says Minister of Education Rodolphe Samuel on Wednesday.
Samuel said that the bids were out and the selection was also completed however, he is not allowed to take part in the bidding process. The Minister of Education said the last update he received was that the contracts were being vetted. He said when that part of the process is completed then the contracts will be awarded to those that won the bids.
The Minister further explained that while he believed that the process is moving slowly and it taking way too much time, he has to wait until the documents are sent to him for signature.
Samuel said while the process is taking too long, the project will be completed and Dutch Quarter will then have a brand new school.
