PHILIPSBURG:--- Troy Washington, N.V. GEBE's Temporary Manager/Special Representative has been using his family-owned construction company to do road works while being the head of the company. The conflict of interest has raised many concerns among employees of the company.
Washington Construction has been conducting several construction projects for GEBE. The company has been executing work for the Ministry of VROMI since the appointment of the temporary manager Troy Washington.
Washington holds a Master’s degree in Finance, a Master’s degree in Business Administration, and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering and has worked for the Princess Juliana Airport prior to taking up the position at GEBE. In September 2022, the Council of Ministers appointed Washington until further notice.
