Ministry of VROMI announces Temporary Road Closure Monday evening and early Tuesday morning.

PHILIPSBURG (DCOMM):--- The Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Planning, and Infrastructure (Ministry of VROMI), Department of Infrastructure announces that some road painting will take place on the Church Hill Round-a-bout.
The Church Hill Round-a-bout/Bush Road will be partially closed from 10.00 pm until 02.00 am, Monday, May 29. Emergency vehicles are allowed; destination traffic, and housebound residents if work permits will be allowed, however, motorists are advised to abide by the traffic directional signs.
Motorists are requested to use alternative roads and avoid the Church Hill Round-a-bout.
Closure and redirection back and forth from the Delta Petroleum gas station will be only possible via Zagergut Road. Traffic to or from the South, Southwestern part of the Island, (Sint Maarten Medical Center, Cay Hill, Cole Bay, and Simpson Bay) will be detoured via Coralita Road, Gladiola Road, and L.B. Scott Road through the Cul de Sac Round-a-bout.
Completely or partially closed off the Church Hill/Cul de Sac Round-a-bout: • Vehicles going in the direction of St. Peters and surrounding neighborhoods are free to travel via the round-a-bout. • Vehicles going in the direction of Cay Hill and over the hill areas are advised to make use of the A.Th. Illidge Road/ Long Wall Road/Little Bay Reindeer Road (Link One).
All vehicles are advised to take notice of the above-given information, as the road closure will be strictly enforced.
