9 Indian Nationals feared dead at sea, left Dominica to St. Martin by boat.

~ Official complaint filed with authorities as relatives seek information on the missing persons~

MARIGOT:--- Nine Indian nationals have gone missing at sea since February 3rd, 2023. The nine persons whose names are listed below entered a boat on the island of Dominica destined for Saint Martin.

Relatives of the missing had contact with the nine people around 6 pm the same day however they were in the seas close to Guadeloupe.

A relative of the missing persons has filed an official complaint with the Gendarmerie as they seek information in finding the missing persons. Since that last phone contact, there has not been any more contact with the nine people. There seem to be no signs of life, and their telephone numbers have remained inaccessible.

An investigation conducted by CROSS Antilles Guyane has since revealed that no distress calls were received by the organization however, the investigations with the CROSS ANTIILES Guyane proved futile, no distress call having been received by this organization, whose response, dated March 20, 2023, is as follows:

“In this case, we can only confirm that we have been contacted by the Patel family about a concern about their loved ones. We have therefore carried out all the actions and research within our competence as MRCC in order to clarify this concern. However, no new element allows us to continue these actions, nothing allowing us to affirm that these people have actually taken to the sea.”

After more than 50 days without news, the concern of the family of the displays is at its height and no explanation has been given for this mysterious affair. The worst is to be feared.
