PHILIPSBURG:--- Police patrols were called to a home in Sucker Garden on Saturday afternoon after neighbors noticed a strange odor coming from one of the houses near them. One of the neighbors walked into the home and noticed a body was in a decomposed state and immediately contacted the police.
On the scene, a 30-year-old man who lives at the home was identified as the body and detectives were called to investigate. After speaking to countless persons in the yard where the house is located, medical professionals came and found that the man has been dead for several days.
The professionals were able to determine that the man died of natural causes as no signs of foul play were evident said Police Spokesman Inspector Josepha. The body was removed from the home and brought to a funeral home after the investigation concluded. The police spokesman stated that no more information about the case will be released at this moment however he sends out condolences to the friends and family of the deceased.
