Caribbean Employers’ Confederation to Implement Phase I1 of Spotlight Initiative Addressing Gender-Based Violence in the Workplace.

BRIDGETOWN, BARBADOS:---  The Caribbean Employers Confederation (CEC), through funding from The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the European Union (EU), is pleased to announce the implementation of Phase II of its Spotlight Workplace Initiative.

The Spotlight Initiative is a global partnership between the European Union and the United Nations dedicated to eliminating all forms of violence against women and girls. The UNFPA-CEC collaboration aims to implement comprehensive programs to advance the cause of gender equality and the prevention of gender-based violence within the context of the Caribbean workplace.

There will also be a number of regional and national businesses on hand from Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados and Trinidad & Tobago signing their commitment to develop gender-based workplace policies.
