PHILIPSBURG:--- The heart of Philipsburg, Sint Maarten, came alive with vibrant energy as the Backstreet Bonanza unfolded, marking a resounding success for both locals and visitors alike. The WICSU-PSU union was proud to serve as a vendor in an event that showcased the cultural richness of the Sint Maarten and brought the community together in a joyous celebration.
The event was originally hosted in a collaborative effort by the I From Here Foundation (IFH), TEATT Ministry, Sint Maarten Chamber of Commerce, and the Indian Merchant Association (IMA).
The WICSU-PSU Women’s Committee, a branch of the WICSU-PSU union eagerly served as a local vendor at the event. Our energetic team witnessed an array of vendors lining the iconic Backstreet, Philipsburg. These vendors offered a delightful assortment of local food, beverages, Christmas-themed gifts, and captivating souvenirs for that essence of the Sint Maarten spirit.
