PHILIPSBURG:--- The Ministry of Justice Issues Reminder to Political Parties Regarding Removal of Political Propaganda
Sint Maarten, (January 15) – The Ministry of Justice of Sint Maarten hereby issues an immediate reminder to all political parties regarding the adherence to the Ministerial Regulation concerning the removal of external political propaganda from public areas.
In accordance with the Ministerial Regulation, all political parties are required to remove any external political propaganda, in particular billboards and posters. This directive follows the parliamentary election held on January 11, 2024.
The Ministerial Regulation outlined a removal period of 48 hours post-election. All political entities should adhere to this requirement of public areas.
The cooperation of all political parties is crucial in ensuring a harmonious post-election environment in Sint Maarten.
