Inspiring Meeting Between Caribbean Business Hub and Corendon Founder.

businessmeeting03062024SIMPSON BAY: Successful multicultural entrepreneurs met again during a Caribbean Business Hub business event in the historic Curaçao House, the Office of the Minister Plenipotentiary in The Hague.
The room was completely filled, and among the attendees were lawyers, real estate agents, headhunters, transport companies, representatives of the Embassy of San Salvador, and the Ministry of the Interior, among others.
The sultry evening was opened by the chairman Nico de Visser of Caribbean Business Hub, the platform for ambitious professionals and entrepreneurs to see and seize opportunities in the Caribbean. He called on Chambers of Commerce, tourism organizations, and business associations of the islands to join CBH to jointly create new opportunities for entrepreneurs in Europe and the Caribbean.
The Minister Plenipotentiary, C. Manuel, as host, welcomed the attendees. He indicated that there are many opportunities in Curaçao to do business successfully and that, especially now, is the time to step in.

This was followed by the Caribbean Turkish Business Tycoon Atilay Uslu, founder of Corendon, as keynote speaker. In a charismatic way, he expressed in all simplicity how he has shaped his vision for Corendon on Curaçao and has built an empire there. He moved with his family to Curaçao in 2023, where Corendon now owns a number of hotels. Opening the newest hotel in Curaçao, The Rif at Mangrove Beach, was a huge challenge. Corendon Mangrove Beach Resort is one of the largest and most sustainable hotels in Curaçao.
Curaçao has become Corendon's fourth most popular destination after Turkey, Greece, and Spain. Uslu indicated that the number of tourists in Curaçao is expected to grow to 600,000 in 2024, and that trend will continue in the coming years. Corendon is mainly focusing on the growth of tourists from North and South America and will significantly expand the number of flights to Curaçao. Curaçao is booming.

Robby Schouten, tour operator, entrepreneur, and television producer of Leu for Cas, has interviewed various entrepreneurs, including the board members of CBH. Corinne Hernandez-Croes and Lionel Martijn were able to talk about the opportunities that a platform like Caribbean Business Hub offers to ambitious professionals. Germaine Hernandez-Croes talked about their cosmetics house and the well-known cosmetics brand NQ Cosmetics.
As always, there was also a sufficient opportunity to catch up with each other as entrepreneurs and professionals and enjoy spicy Surinamese Javanese catering.
Next year, Caribbean Business Hub will celebrate its 10th anniversary, but first, the next business event will take place on Tuesday, September 24, 2024. Further information can be obtained on the website www.Caribbeanbusinesshub.nl
