PHILIPSBURG:--- The Sint Maarten Police Force (KPSM) urges all parents to engage in serious discussions with their children about the importance of responsible behavior and respecting others' property.
Today, at approximately 5:00 PM, an incident occurred in the Low Estate area of Belvedere Estate. A driver heard a loud noise as he stopped his vehicle. Upon inspection, he discovered a stone had struck his vehicle. The driver then observed a group of youngsters fleeing the scene.
KPSM wants to stress that such behavior is utterly unacceptable and poses significant dangers not only to property but also to individuals. We call on parents to take this matter seriously and address these dangerous practices with their children.
Parents, please sit down with your children and discuss the gravity of these actions. Emphasize the consequences and the importance of making responsible choices. These destructive behaviors will not be tolerated, and those caught engaging in such activities will face prosecution according to the criminal penal code of St. Maarten.
The safety and well-being of our community are paramount. Let's work together to ensure a safe and respectful environment for everyone.
