PHILIPSBURG:--- As part of an ongoing investigation into an incident that took place a few weeks ago in the Middle Region area involving destruction, attempted murder, and the illegal possession of firearms, the Detective Department of the Sint Maarten Police Force (KPSM), together with the Uniform Division, conducted a series of house searches and arrests during the early morning hours of Wednesday, October 16, 2024.
This coordinated operation took place in the St. Peters area, resulting in the arrest of six individuals, identified by their initials and ages as follows:
J.J.A., 26 years of age
R.R.R.C., 22 years of age
D.S.B., 33 years of age
M.J.H., 28 years of age
R.F.J.C., 19 years of age
A.R.A.P., 50 years of age
Following initial questioning, five of the six individuals were placed into preventive custody pending further investigation. On suspect was released after questioning. The Sint Maarten Police Force continues to pursue all leads in this matter.
This investigation remains active, and additional arrests may be forthcoming as new evidence and information are gathered.
