PHILIPSBURG:--- The National Alliance extends its heartfelt congratulations to all parties that secured seats in Aruba’s elections held on December 6th.
“To the AVP, under the leadership of Wendrick Cecilia, your success is a clear indication that the people of Aruba are ready to embrace fresh perspectives and leaders who step forward with new vision,” stated MP Doran.
To the MEP, under the experienced leadership of Prime Minister Evelyn Wever-Croes, congratulations on your continued trust from the people of Aruba.
A special acknowledgment to the Forturo Party and its leader, Gerlien Croes, for securing three seats and making an impactful entrance on the political stage.
We also commend the PPA for securing one seat in this competitive election.
These preliminary results, AVP with nine seats, MEP with eight seats, Forturo with three seats, and PPA with one seat, reflect a diverse and energized electorate. Most importantly, we applaud the people of Aruba for an impressive voter turnout of nearly 80%. The exemplary conduct and unity displayed throughout the electoral process were even more remarkable than the turnout.
As the National Alliance, we look forward to collaborating with all four parties at future IPKO meetings, fostering dialogue and cooperation that benefit the people of Aruba and the Kingdom as a whole.
Aruba, we love and celebrate your democracy. Congratulations once again from the National Alliance Party.
