LIMA (ILO News) – The International Labour Organization (ILO) will publish the 2024 Labour Overview of Latin America and the Caribbean, a new report that provides a detailed analysis of employment trends in the region, highlighting key challenges and developments. It explores issues such as the persistence of informality, gender gaps in the labour market, and challenges related to youth employment generation.
Additionally, the report examines the impact of macroeconomic and structural factors affecting recovery and the quality of employment in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The report will be presented during a virtual press conference on Wednesday, 12 February, at 11:00AM (Eastern Caribbean Time)
