KPSM recognizes the alarming trend of illegal firearms being found in the possession of individuals during routine controls. The possession of a firearm without the proper permit is a serious criminal offense, posing significant risks to public safety, law enforcement personnel, and the individuals carrying these weapons.
The police force remains committed to tackling this issue and will continue to conduct regular controls to curb the possession and circulation of illegal firearms. KPSM urges the public to report any suspicious activities related to firearm possession to the authorities.
