PUBLIC NOTICE: Emergency Town Hall meeting in St. Peters.

On behalf of the residents of St. Peters we would like to take this opportunity to invite the residents of St. Peters and the general public to an emergency town hall meeting on Monday, March 26, 2012 at the Rupert Maynard Community Center from 7pm to 8:30pm. The purpose of the meeting is to:

  1. acquire insight and clarity regarding the referendum and election process
  2. receive a comprehensive overview of the activities, legal and financial position of the SPCC
  3. obtain clarity on the Council's cessation for approximately four years.

This in our view is necessary in order to prevent the future leadership of the council from inheriting a terrible mess and protect the general interests of the community. If this matter is not quickly resolved it may erode public trust, raise serious reservations of the future Council's legitimacy, and negatively impact its ability to enhance the quality of life in St. Peters. Our greatest defense against the encroaching social maladies affecting our neighborhood is unity, organization, and cooperation. Therefore, we are confident that the symposium will restore our beloved village, foster social and spiritual transformation, and make a lasting impression upon the hearts and minds of the entire community.
