WILLEMSTAD/PHILIPSBURG – The Supervisory Board of the Centrale Bank van Curaçao en Sint Maarten (CBCS) has taken note of recent media reports. The Supervisory Board of the CBCS confirms that discussions are ongoing that could result in its Executive Director, Mr. Dr. Jardim, leaving to join a financial institution for professional reasons. However, any statements suggesting that Dr. Jardim has left the CBCS are premature. The Supervisory Board of the CBCS also wishes to emphasize that it does not recognize itself in the remaining content of these reports.
