PHILIPSBURG:--- Orco Bank is proud to support the Nature Foundation Sint Maarten’s Junior Ranger Program 2025 by sponsoring PADI Open Water Diver certifications for local youth participating in the program. The Junior Ranger Program empowers young people between the ages of 12 and 15 to become environmental stewards through hands-on activities focused on marine and terrestrial conservation. From coral reef exploration and mangrove restoration to beach cleanups and seagrass monitoring, the program equips participants with the knowledge and skills to protect Sint Maarten’s unique ecosystems. This year, the curriculum has expanded to include PADI scuba diving certification — giving Junior Rangers the opportunity to experience the island’s underwater world and better understand the importance of marine conservation. As part of its commitment to community development and sustainability, Orco Bank continues to invest in education and environmental initiatives that build a stronger, greener future for Sint Maarten. The Junior Ranger Program runs from June to October 2025 and includes field trips, environmental workshops, and leadership training.
