OYSTER POND:--- At approximately 4:30 p.m. today, an armed robbery occurred at a jewelry store located inside the Westin Resort in the Oyster Pond area.
According to preliminary information, three scooters carrying several suspects dressed in dark clothing entered the area and robbed the jewelry store.
The suspects reportedly stole jewelry and fired a shot inside the establishment. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Detectives and police officers remain at the scene and are actively investigating the incident.

Preliminary reports indicate that the suspects escaped toward the French side of the island.
