Philipsburg:--- Prime Minister and Leader of the Democratic Party Sarah Wescot Williams admitted to reporters on Wednesday that she was interviewed by American law enforcement agencies about the Carib News Conference that was held on St. Maarten in the year 2008. While not divulging any information about the content of the interview Wescot Williams made clear that government is not an object in the ongoing investigations. Minister of Justice Roland Duncan said that the Prime Minister was interviewed based on a treaty that existed between the United States and the Kingdom. He said parties agreed to assist each other in investigations and when the Prime Minister was asked she responded graciously.
