Two Graduated as Industrial Hygiene Officers --- Efforts to increase labour inspections.

sphilipsandabudikereceivingcertificates04042012Philipsburg:--- Two civil servants attached to the department of Labour Inspectorate recently graduated from the University of the West Indies announced Minister of Health and Labour Cornelius de Weever at Wednesday's Council of Ministers press briefing. Minister De Weever said as in keeping with his Ministry's year plan the Ministry collaborated with the University of the West Indies where the two civil servants participated in courses on Industrial Hygiene. The Minister presented the two civil servants with their certificates on Wednesday. They are Selby Philips and Andrew Budike. Budike also participated and completed a long distance course on safety and health. Minister De Weever said the two civil servants completed the courses on the use and application on hygiene tool kits.
