Philipsburg:--- The Department of Youth Health Care presented the President of the St. Maarten Carnival Development Foundation (SCDF) with several boxes of ear plugs on Wednesday. The Department of Youth Health Care feels that youngsters on St. Maarten must be protected and therefore it is necessary for the youths participating the annual carnival parades and activities be provided with ear plugs.SCDF President Stuart Johnson thanked the Ministry of Health for the donation to the foundation and government's proactive role in carnival.
The department of Collective Prevention also provided SCDF with a bag containing posters as they kick off their vaccination week.
