The PSS team worked hard to ensure that all the parcels were properly labelled, stored and secured at its facilities, and finally delivered. All the packages left the island as planned on Friday 31st August for the Netherlands. Many students were pleasantly surprised to receive their boxes in days, as early as Tuesday 4th September. To date just about all have received their packages since with a just a few waiting to be delivered after attempts to deliver were made unsuccessful. PSS urges those few who are still awaiting their parcels to contact their local dutch post office to arrange for their delivery to avoid the packages being sent back after a number of failed delivery attempts is made, back to St. Maarten.
Postal Services St. Maarten (PSS) will be making this Summer Parcel Special an annual event, and says special thanks to our Hon. Minister Jacobs and her Ministry of Education team, KLM, parents, students here and abroad for helping to promote the special to make it a success. In addition to this summer event PSS will be having a Christmas Special to ensure our students and St. Maartener's abroad in the Netherlands can have a nice warm Christmas, so please stay tuned for this upcoming special.
