Police on St. Maarten and Curacao raided several Robbie's Lottery locations both on St. Maarten and Curacao in July last year where they also seized monies and documents. Dos Santos accounts were also frozen. The investigation is known as the "Bientu Investigation" which is headed by the Kingdom Detectives Cooperation Team (RST) and the Intelligence and Investigation team (TIO).
