Government Owned Companies Improving --- PM.

swescotwilliams18042012Philipsburg:--- The Prime Minister of St. Maarten Sarah Wescot Williams announced on Wednesday during the Council of Ministers press briefing that there has been some improvement at various government owned companies namely WINAIR, TELEM, and PSS.
Wescot-Williams further explained that WINAIR is making great strides since the restructuring of the Supervisory Board. "Things are going in the right direction since WINAIR managed to sign several interline agreements with many airlines. The shareholder is still waiting on their business plan for charting the way and going forward." Wescot Williams said the company has come a long way.
Meanwhile, at TELEM the company's organizational structure has been finalized and they are now at the critical stage in discussing the company's future with the employees. The Prime Minister said that the company is using a meticulous way in the process by making sure that no step is skipped, therefore she is looking forward to a positive outcome.
The Prime Minister also said that there has been progress at the Postal Services St. Maarten but that company still has a lot more to do to better their services even though the company started off badly.
