The draft ordinance on Property Law and Contracting of Work which was submitted to the Parliament of Sint Maarten by the Minister of Justice and published on www.sxmparliament.org, will be held in a hearing format in a public session of the Central Committee of Parliament.
Members of Parliament would like to hear the opinions and recommendations from the general contractors in the business community as to the effects and consequences before handling this draft ordinance in a Public Meeting of Parliament.
Contractors are invited to contact the Secretary General of Parliament to make their interest known in participating in this hearing.
Representatives of contractors will be offered the possibility to make a brief presentation on the draft ordinance on Contracting of Work as it is relevant to their business interests in respect to the possible consequences of the proposed draft to contractors specifically and to the community in general.
