Philipsburg:--- The G.I.F.T.E.D. Foundation will be hosting their first praise party called "Last Saturdays – Summer Praise" on June 30 at the John Larmonie Centre starting at 7pm. Recording gospel artiste, Omalie Durand of Dominica and Anguilla will be performing live at this first session in the series.President of G.I.F.T.E.D., Lenworth Wilson, Jr said, "Under our "Shameless Promotions" banner we've started this series of events called "Last Saturdays Praise".
Last Saturdays is a gospel party setting for teens and young adults. It provides a forum where the young and the young at heart can 'let their hair down', and fellowship in a wholesome, positive environment."
G.I.F.T.E.D. will be hosting this event on the last Saturday of every month. There is a growing need among young people for a wholesome alternative on the entertainment scene where fun does not include drugs, alcohol, sex and disparaging music. As with their Funday Monday, G.I.F.T.E.D. will make another fun-filled, enjoyable experience for the St. Maarten community.
