Philipsburg:--- On Wednesday August 1st, 2012 at approximately 10:55pm during a routine control by a Zero Tolerance patrol, a gray Hyundai Elantra with license plate P-8913 with dark tinted windows was stopped in the vicinity of the Kruythof round-a-bout. During the control on the inside of the vehicle, a loaded black handgun was found in the center console. This weapon was confiscated and the driver/suspect with initials N.A.W. born in Curacao was arrested on the spot and taken to the Philipsburg Police Station where he was handed over to the Fire-arm Division for further investigation.
