This final specification from APNA will provide, amongst others, an overview of the accrued pension through October 9, 2010. The specifications will be distributed via the personnel departments of the various employers of APS participants.
For the time being, APS will only be distributing the specifications of active participants of the fund. These are those employees who have not yet reached the pensionable age of 60 years and who were registered in the administration as being in service of an employer on Sint Maarten.
"The specifications are for informative purposes, as many persons have been asking about them. We feel it is important to get information to them on how they were registered at APNA as per the abovementioned date" says APS director Kendra Arnell.
If participants notice discrepancies with their pension specifications, they should inform APS of such, within the shortest possible time. "We will then work with them to look into the issue," says the APS director.
