SMN News was also reliably informed that a new Head of the Judicial Affairs Department has been appointed and he will take up his duties at the Justice Ministry this week. The new head of Judicial Affairs has been identified as Mr. Hoestia. According to well placed sources, Iris Chitaroe left on vacation and she will not be returning to her job as Acting Head of Judicial Affairs.
It is expected that the Minister of Justice Roland Duncan will present the new heads of these departments on Thursday afternoon to the media. No other details on the two candidates are readily available.
General Secretary of Justice Department Moved --- Ligia Stella has to Establish MOT.
Reliable sources have informed SMN News that the Secretary General of the Justice Ministry Ligia Stella was removed from her position and given the position to head the MOT Department. The source said that Stella will soon leave her current position to go over to her new office.
Minister Duncan did not give the position to the former Minister of Finance Hiro Shigemoto as was reported earlier. According to sources within the Justice Ministry, the Minister of Justice and the Secretary General were not seeing eye to eye and the move was necessary since the two parties were not communicating.
