The St. Maarten Ombudsman Dr. Nilda Arduin presented the Year Report of the Office of the Ombudsman to the Prime Minister the Honorable Sarah Wescot-Williams on Friday.
The main task of the Ombudsman pursuant to the Constitution is the investigating of the conduct and behavior of Government and other Administrative bodies as a result of complaints that are received at the office. Dr. Nilda Arduin gave an outline to the Prime Minister about the number of complaints and the Departments within the various Ministries of Government.
