The source said that no monies have been deposited since November 2010 and only recently the school board realized that someone has been committing fraud. SMN News learnt that Andrade was fired on the spot two weeks ago. The school board is also looking closely at the school's accountant who did not notify them of the incident. SMN News further learnt that this is the second time a concierge of the Milton Peters College has been fired for stealing monies from the canteen. The first incident it is said was never reported.
Chief Commissioner of Police Peter de Witte confirmed that a complaint has been filed against the concierge and an investigation is currently taking place.
