St. Peters:--- A lone gunman entered Sunshine Supermarket located on Genip Road late Monday evening and robbed the owners. According to an eyewitness, the suspect was armed with a shotgun. SMN News learnt that police managed to arrest the culprit along with another suspect that was outside the supermarket acting as a lookout. The money and clothes that were stolen were also recovered. Andy Huang and his mother were inside the supermarket when the incident occurred. Huang said that the gunman entered the supermarket and demanded that they turn over all the monies they had in the cash register.
Chief Commissioner of Police Peter de Witte confirmed that the robbery took place and two suspects were arrested. De Witte said police are busy investing the latest armed robbery.
