Great Bay:--- On Tuesday afternoon, The Positive Foundation together with Elektralyets Foundation presented the Breast Cancer Awareness Month Calendar of Events to Prime Minister Sarah Wescott-Williams; Minister of Education, Culture Youth & Sports, Silveria Jacobs and Minister of Public Health Social Development & Labor, Cornelius De Weever.The two foundations are extending an invitation to the Government of St. Maarten to participate in their entire month of activities, which officially kicks off on Friday, October 5, 2012 with a Pink March/Parade through Philipsburg. The Positive Foundation and Mercedes "Elektra" Wyatt have organized a number of events intended to spread the word that in the fight against breast cancer "Early detection is our Best Protection."
