Philipsburg:--- Party fans donned their most fashionably 80's style outfits and afro hairdos for G.I.F.T.E.D. GLOW Party- 80's Babies Style last Saturday at the John Larmonie Centre. Young people were jamming to the beats of Joshua 'DRJ' Ferrol of Radio Maranatha fame. Eugene "Torch" Hanson opened the live performances with his lyrical flow. Marc G. Menard turned up the vibes with a live band performance in zouk, kompa, and reggae. There was a dance-off between hip-hop fans and the crowd roared for the champion moves of Snatra Bauld of the Philipsburg New Testament Church of God. The young and the young at heart enjoyed several games and activities. Pastors and youth leaders showed their support and found themselves in comfortably entertained in this gospel party setting for teens and young adults. On Saturday, August 25, the next GIFTED GLOW party will be hosted at John Larmonie Centre with the theme "Word Nerd", a focus on dress, Bible prowess, and fun.
