The aircraft it is understood was purchased recently in the United States and the crew stopped on St. Maarten to tank up in order to reach their final destination which is Brazil.
SMN News further learnt that it appears as though the pilot was not able to keep his story straight because he mentioned another reason for the accident to other security personnel that are busy investigating. Up to press time, PJIAE management did not release any information on the incident
