Philipsburg:--- On Tuesday September 25th, 2012, Chief of Police Peter de Witte, on behalf of the Minister of Justice, officially received the keys for fournew police vehicles that were very much needed for the police to be able to continue to provide the necessary assistance to the community. These vehicles
are three double cabin Nissan 4x4 diesel pick-up trucks and one Nissan Xtrail. The pick-ups will be used for the Uniformed Division in the Simpson Bay and Philipsburg Districts and the Nissan Xtrail will be used by the Community Police Officers. A special word of gratitude goes out to Mr. Junior Halley, representative/manager from NISSAN Sint Maarten Cars who has been instrumental in having these vehicles immediately delivered upon request.
