Norman Chester Wathey II Collects Lien Payments.

Philipsburg:--- At least two banks on St. Maarten have agreed to pay Norman Chester Wathey II (Leo Hughes) the sum of $200,000.00 from the accounts of the Wathey families.

Norman Chester Wathey II placed a lien on the accounts of the Wathey siblings after they failed to comply with a court ruling from the Court of First Instance. The lien was placed on accounts at the Windward Islands Bank and the Royal Bank of Canada.

Norman Chester Wathey II told SMN News that he placed the lien on the accounts on June 27th, 2012 and on July 27th, 2012 he received an answer from both banks. He said the RBC bank already made their payment which amounts to $11,000.00 and 4,800 Euros. He said the larger payments have to be made by the Windward Islands Bank. Wathey II said he believes the bank already made the payments to his bailiff but the bailiff is currently off island on vacation. Wathey II further explained that his siblings also placed a lien on his accounts for the sum of $30,000.00 for damages they claim he owed them for slandering. "I told the Wathey siblings that I do not have any bank accounts but they still went ahead and placed a lien at the banks on the island."
