The St. Maarten Cricket Association was the recipient of a donation from NAGICO Insurances on Thursday August 9th; in which they received funding to outfit them with all the necessary gear and equipment for an upcoming cricket tournament.
The association approached the company for financial assistance to replace their old gear for an upcoming tournament. Speaking at the cheque handing over on the cricket field on Thursday President of the Association; Nathaniel Walters thanked NAGICO for their continued support over the years.
Some of the items the association received included: cricket balls, bats, batting gloves, arm guards, batting pads and tournament stumps.
