PHILIPSBURG:--- The Detectives are presently investigating a case of Threat and firearm possession which took place on Saturday March 26th at approximately 10.20 p.m. on Richardson Drive in Dutch Quarter. This is when a call came into the Emergency Central dispatch from the female victim who stated that she was attacked and threatened by a man with a gun. She also stated that the suspect had fired two shots at her. Immediately a police patrol went to the scene to investigate what had taken place. On the scene the officers spoke to the victim who pointed out the suspect. The suspect was immediately arrested on the scene an remains in custody for questioning and further investigation. During a search of the area the officers found the gun belonging to the suspect. The weapon was also confiscated for further investigation.
