PHILIPSBURG:--- The three-member managing board of directors of GEBE has refused to sign the 6 months contract which the Council of Ministers agreed to give them until the recruitment process to hire a new team is finalized. The Council of Minister made the resolution on October 21st after an urgent meeting with the Supervisory Board of Directors.
SMN News learned that the managing board of directors namely Kenrick Chittick (CEO), Iris Arrindell Smith, and Veronica Jensen Webster tried to trick the board by not signing the new contract today November 1st, 2019 since their contract ended on October 31st.
The source said when the managing board refused to sign the temporary contract they were ordered to leave GEBE compound until an agreement is reached on the temporary contract.
According to information provided to SMN News the interim managing board of directors then called the Minister of VROMI Chris Wever to an emergency meeting that is currently taking place as a solution is found.

After the meeting with Minister Chris Wever the management team was advised to leave GEBE premises until an agreement is reached on their temporary contract.
SMN News learned that the Supervisory Board appointed Andrew Zagers as interim manager with the support of the Internal Audit Department until further notice.
