MARIGOT:--- Luciana Raspail has been appointed Director General of the Chambre Consulaire Interprofessionnelle de Saint-Martin (CCISM), taking the institution’s top administrative position after 15 years of service.
Raspail joined the chamber as a secretary in 2011 and progressed through positions covering business registration, export development and business support before becoming Deputy Director.
Her appointment brings an experienced internal candidate to the helm, with knowledge of the institution’s operations and the needs of Saint-Martin’s business community.
Raspail’s priorities include improving services for businesses, strengthening staff capacity and using data and evaluation to guide the chamber’s work. She also intends to develop partnerships and diversify resources to support its long-term operations.
Entrepreneurship, training, youth and innovation will remain part of that agenda, alongside regional and international business development.
Following her appointment, Raspail accompanied the CCISM President to Paris for chamber-network and overseas economic meetings to strengthen partnerships and support for Saint-Martin.
She described the position as an honor and a responsibility, emphasizing cooperation with the chamber’s elected representatives, employees, partners and local businesses.
